Are you saying there is a problem with Photoshop CC 2017? Or the current version CC 2019?

You'll need to provide your working file since no one here knows what your layer stack is which produces this issue.

So... I opened the same file in both version of Photoshop (2020 v. 21.0.3 and CC 2015 v.16.0) and I got different results.

Everything except program version is exactly THE SAME (layers, blend modes, color profiles etc.).
This look like the Color Dodge in 2020 doesn't work like it supposed to. It doesn't "burn" the image/layer. It's not even close to the 2015 version look.
It's a bug? Can someone know how to fix it?

Now, when I uploaded both versions (one that was saved by CC2015, and one that was saved by 2020) to dropbox they looks different on preview. But when you open the version, which was saved in 2015, in Photoshop 2020 it looks exactly the same as the 2020 saved one.
I really don't understand 😕
