This document contains unknown data which will be discarded to keep layers editable - After update

Hi

This morning ive been working on a flyer PSD ..... everything was fine, saving opening as normal...got a notification to update Photoshop...i had the beta version installed with generative fill...I done the update and its now showing (Beta) 24.7 .....however now when i try to open the same file as earlier i get the 'This document contains unknown data which will be discarded to keep layers editable' which completley ruins the flyer, adjustment layers ect are no longer applied.

 

Anyone else had any issues with this update?

    First rule of beta - use at your own risk. I'm sure something was updated from the previous to current version of the beta that required adjustments to be discarded. Most likely still in development and newer versions don't use the same algorithms, etc.

      Yeah...i managed to open and edit as needed in the normal version of photoshop...just thought it was strange seen as it was fine before the update

        Word of advice - don't do flyers or other work-related projects in a piece of beta software unless you like taking risks with your jobs...
