Tools get stuck in the eyedropper

Hello, since the latest builds of photoshop, when I change my tools it acts weirdly. I posted here that my tools are changing alone and people told me to "Go to Preference - Turn off "Spring-loaded Tool Shortcuts"", what I did, and it makes it waaaay better but I still had an issue: my tools get "stuck" in the eyedropper. I'm using the blending technique to draw so I'm constantly switching between the eyedropper tool and the brush tool, but regularly it stays in the eyedropper tool and that break my rhythm when I draw, I can't draw like that. So I get back into an older version of photoshop and the issue isn't here so I stayed like that. But now I really want my photoshop to be up to date so I'm writing here to have a solution to that so I can finally use the lasts version of photoshop. Thank you!

Hello, it does not sound fun, could you do a screen recording of the issue?

please also post the contents of Photoshop's Help>System Info... menu, so that we get to know your OS, its version, the exact version of Photoshop you are running, the date of the GPU driver, etc.

Did you try to restore your preferences to the default using this manual method:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually it lets you keep a copy on the desktop that you can use to revert the process.

Now I tried the tips to disable the less powerful graphic card but now photoshop isn't detecting any graphic card at all. That's weird, in my Nvidia control panel I set to photoshop my Nvidia graphic card so I don't understand why it doesn't detect it after I disabled my intel graphic card. @NovaGood je vois bien qu'il s'agit de la version 24, ma question porte sur la license: indéterminée, cela n'est pas normal. Souvent, il s'agit de versions pirates, dont dès lors, on ne peut s'assurer qu'elles ont le même code que les autres.

Pour les lignes qui bougent: quelle manipulation pose problème? préférences, pilote Intel désactivé?

Avez-vous recréé vos préférences?

Et désactivé la carte graphique intel?

Essayé de désactiver le canevas natif dans preferences/aperçus de technologie (puis redémarrer)

Quelle tablette graphique est-ce? quel pilote? avez-vous essayé de mettrre à jour, passe à une ancienne version?

Est-il possible de créer un profil pour l'application? est-ce qu'un bouton de la tablette permet d'activer la touche ALT, et donc la pipette?

When I posted the first time about this problem I was subscribed to photoshop but no one helped me. So I decided to go back to the 2019 version because it was the last time where everything was fine. But in Creative Cloud we can't download this version, the older we can have is the 2021 version, so I downloaded the version from the internet. The only way for the problem to go away is to use a version older than version 2021 but it's not downloadable in creative cloud.

You also posted that you downloaded a copy of 2019 from the internet, but then "subscribed again". It may be that all the different versions of PS are making the issue worse.

I would recommend uninstalling all copies of PS, then running the CC Cleaner Tool to remove resources, then reinstall Creative Cloud Desktop and install the recent version of PS to get you to a stable starting point, then lets look at resolving the issue.

but when I uninstall photoshop I always use the creative cloud cleaner tool and I make sure to manually remove the files that stay

The fact that you followed the directions outlined on this page and deactivated the lesser card and it got worse, leads me to think you are having issues with your newer RTX 3050.

The other solution you can try is to go direct to Adobe Support.

Go to this page, make sure you are logged in with your Adobe ID used in PS and click the chat bubble  (bottom right) to connect with a Support specialist. They can remote in to your PC to review and hopefully resolve the issue directly on your machine.

Yes I really think I have a gpu issue too (I don't know if it has something to do with my tools getting stuck issue but definitively with another problem I have). So, I followed the "Troobleshoot Photoshop graphics processor" thing and finally I "disabled the less powerfull graphic card" like it is written, namely my Intel graphic X card. Photoshop uses my Nvidia 3050 Ti usually, but when I do that (that's not the first time I disable the Intel) it doesn't use any graphic card at all, like if it was my Nvidia that was disabled (Yes I did the "Manage 3D settings" and stuff, I followed all steps). But this time instead of letting it down I did go talk to the "Adobe Support" (I already talked to them but not about the gpu thing exactly), I show them the "troobleshoot photoshop" etc page, explain to them everything, tell them that at the "disable the less powerfull gpu" thing it doesn't work correctly because photoshop doesn't even recognize my Nvidia anymore and a technician has remotely takes my computer.

He has enabled my Intel graphic card and said: "Now photoshop recognises your Nvidia again, your issue should be solved". I told him "No, we just went back to the beginning of the problem. I would like photoshop to recognize my Nvidia after I disabled my least powerful graphics card like in "Troobleshoot photoshop" thing" and he stopped responding to me. 

So if somebody here can help me with that maybe, it would be really nice

With that latest explanation it is pretty obvious you have a faulty graphics card with your RTX3050. I would either uninstall/reseat the card and then reinstall the drivers or contact the manufacturer to see if there is any graphics card specific recommendations they have.
