type on path bug or help me

I have made a curved path with 3 points

typed on said path, but i cant get the text end point to go past the middle path point. so can only type on half the path. if i remove the middle point ( the curve point ) i can then move the text end point the whole way.

either a bug or something has changed in the latest update and im stuck somone help.

ps ive been doing this for years now and never had this problem its only new. im lost haha

Same issue here only in the 2024 version on Mac. Type on a path created with the pen tool is hard to control text. Been using PS over 25 years.

@rhainas64166943 just test on my system with Photoshop version 25.11, and it's working fine for me, have you tried resetting the tools

If that doesn't help, try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences
