why cant i save as a PNG in photoshop 2025? yes i've tried "save as" and "save a copy". UPDATE: why did they move it under "export as" ?

Your file is CMYK and possibly has multiple layers, which isn't directly supported for PNG.

Export As indirectly converts CMYK and 32 bpc images to an intermediate RGB 8 bpc image "on the fly" so that unsupported documents can be directly exported.
