Hi,
i have 2 problems with photoshop brush:
1. Lag
2. Onion effect, i don't know how to explain it... when the brush is set to opacity 10-20%, i don't see a homogeneus reduction of "color" from the center to the outside, but i see like different layers... like onion
Photoshop and drivers upgraded
PC is new and quite powerfull (photoshop is really really fast except for brush)
Thank you very much
Bye
Alessio
Does changing the Smoothing/Uniformità setting to 0 have an effect on the lagging?
What are the Brush’s settings in the Brush Settings Panel?
Have you tried working in 16bit (Image > Mode > …)?

Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?
What is the Tool’s Smoothing setting?

This one?
I also insert an example of "onion effect". This is an exasperation, i brush with 80% opacity 6-7 times in the same place. But it also happens in normal brushing (i have to zoom to see it). In masks it is more more evident, also brushing only 1 time

16bit works great for "onion" brush!!!! Thank you very much!!!!
For lagging... resetting photoshop solved partially the problem, Smotting to 0 completely solved the problem!
Thank you very much!!

You could also try checking »Noise« in the Brush Settings Panel.
