2020 upgrade issues

Hi.  I recently updated my MAC OS to Catlina.  It seems like adobe cc photoshop updated automatically b/c I don't remember upgrading it.  Anyway, since this upgrade, I've run into many issues.  My issue currenlty is trying to look at 2 different images while in PS.  When I try to switch from my 1st image to my second image, the 1st image remains on the screen and does not allow me to go from one to another.  When I go to "arrange" and arrange them side by side, both images disappear.

Anyone having the same issues and have any advice on correcting?  I've reached out ot adobe help but they are not currently assisting.

thank you.

Check your Creative Cloud Desktop app for any updates to 2020 and also see if 2019 is still installed.

Offhand I can suggest turning on Legacy Compositing in Preferences > Performance. Restart Photoshop and let me know if the situation improves. If not, try setting the Drawing Mode from Advanced to Normal or Basic, because it seems your graphics card is not handing 2020 well.
