24.4.1 glitches when moving layers around

Odd bug I found in PS 24.4.1 on PC, didn't happen in the last version.

Top layer: filled white with a soft black brush drawn across it. Blend mode set to multiply but can be anything other than normal.
Next layer: Created a large coloured circle and added a drop shadow layer
effect
Next layer: Copy of the one above
Bottom layer: filled solid colour

If you select the layer one above the bottom and start moving it around you get the odd artifacts seen in the video. If you disable the drop shadows it stops happening. If you set the top most layer to less than 100% opacity it stops happening. Turning of GPU composite in prefs>performance also stops it happening.

Running Windows 11, RTX3080, AMD Ryen 9 3900X, 64gb ram, all drivers are up to date.

Video of issue in action: https://youtu.be/YrV3XXzF6hw
PSD attached, open, select layer 1 and start moving it around.

Hi @CShubert

"Older GPU mode" removes the glitching but performance become poor.

"Disable Native Canvas" makes no difference.

Hi @ShootingPixelsAndy sorry to see this.

First, try:

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and enable “Older GPU mode (pre 2016)” - Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?

If not:

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
