2GB limit for PSD files workaround?

Advisor ,
Feb 23, 2018 Feb 23, 2018

I have a panorama that I created that is 857 MB.  But when making some minor changes in Photoshop - with only one layer - when trying to save the file I get a message that it exceeds the 2 GB file size limit and cannot save.  Why is this?  What can I do to preserve my edited file?  Thanks!

Hi there! I have the same problem but the thing is that I need to save the file in .PDF in order to open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I'm doing this because I need to have a final pdf file with URL links.

If I choose "Large Document Format" Acrobat won't open it.

Thanks!
