2x3 Template

I was wondering if anybody knows how to access automated templates in adobe photoshop. i used to use a program that all you had to do was select the image you wanted and i would place those images in a tile form of 2x3 totaling in 6 images per page. the program that i used it in was ulead photo express, and it was a pretty crappy program. Im sure that if this program could do i would think that photoshop would be able to do it somehow.

If you want the same image 6 times you can select the same images 6 times in the interactive script or dupe the image in the image folder so that you have 6 of each and then use a batch automated script. Creating a template like that is simple size a new document the size you want to print.  Make a round selection move the selection to the six positions and in each position save an alpha channel "Image 1" "Imaqge 2" ... "Image 6" the save the Template PSD run the run one of the Collage scripts.

Here is a batch example with a image that has been copied 6 times given the names "Image 1"  "Image 2" ... "Images 6" Script dialog option used to stamp filename in centers and give image layers a layer style. 8.5x11

If that is the only template you want and you want the same image 6 times the quickest and simplest is to edit the images you use to be the same size like 1000px by 1000px then create a PSD template file that has one smart opject dupped and moved into six spots.  You could then create a action that would open the template target one of the smart object layers and use menu Layer>Smart Objects>Replace content and the select one of the 1000px by 10000px images it would look something like this template on left then with one menu Layer>Smart Objects>Replace Contents on right
