I need to use the 32bit version of Photoshop on 64 bit Windows because I use a plugin that was never updated to 64bit. When the Creative Cloud App stopped installing the 32bit version I found this site that had direct download links. Now they are saying there are no more direct downloads.
Is there a way for me to install the 32bit version of Photoshop 2015.5?
Yay. Adobe released the downloads like they have in the past.

Lvthunder Photoshop CC 2015.5 will work on 32-bit operating system. You can find the update system requirements at Photoshop system requirements . What specific error do you receive when you install Photoshop through the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application?

I don't get an error. I'm using 64 bit Windows, but I need 32bit Photoshop for my old plugin to work. The Creative Cloud App doesn't have the choice to install the 32bit version of Photoshop only the 64bit version.

That's what I've been doing except Adobe doesn't offer the direct downloads anymore starting with this release.

Lvthunder you can install the previous 32 bit version. Both version of Photoshop CC 2015 will co-exist on the same computer. Then you can use the older installation of Photoshop when you need to work in with the 32-bit only plug-in.

I need 32-bit Photoshop for an old plugin as well. How do you install 32-bit Photoshop CC 2015.5 on 64-bit Windows? Previously I have always been able to have the current version of both 32-bit and 64-bit installed side-by-side. Are you saying this is no longer possible?

Yeah is what he is saying is you can have Photoshop 2015.1.2 32bit and Photoshop 2015.5 64bit installed on the same machine. That's how it has to be unless Adobe either adds the option in the Creative Cloud app or releases the standalone downloads. It really is a big pain and it means I probably won't use the new features all that much since switching between the two apps is a pain.

Yes, happy to say there has been some good progress made with Photoshop – but we are still waiting for cohesiveness in how the ESD packages are handled, including providing standard installers for all the other CC applications.
Another point is that for some reason the CC Desktop App won’t completely recognize when the new install is performed outside of it; at present, it will still show an “Update” button for Photoshop, even after the new version is installed via direct link.
So you might want to hold off on using that for the moment, until Adobe learns more about why the direct link install isn’t working 100% perfectly (and fixes it)… Also to pull in the new releases of all the other CC tools.

I made a plug-in that will allow you to run most of the 32 bit plugins inside 64 bit photoshop. It is called plugin bridge and you can find it on Mediachance site.

Thanks, looks like that could be a helpful plug-in. Does it work with Photoshop CC, e.g., the latest version? The page doesn't say.

Roman, I only recently found it and I have to ask after testing it: do you plan hotkeys for inner plugins? when do you want to add selections support?
