3D between Filter and View is missing

Hi guys,

I'm using Photoshop 25.5.1, but since (maybe) one month, the 3D option in the menu, between Filter and View, is missing. Why?

One solution from the web was to change the Performance settings. "Use Graphics Processor" was activated; I deactivated it, restarted Photoshop, but the same problem persists. Activated it again, restarted, but nothing changed...

Any idea how I can get back my 3D menu?

System:

Windows 10

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

3D has been removed from Photoshop.

If you need 3D functionality you can download v22.2 which has been retained in the downloads for those that need to open and edit files containing 3D elements.

Thanks, I also found this information but wondered why 'Filter -> 3D' and 'Window -> 3D' are still available.

@svens82 I'm sure they will be removed in a future update, as to the why, nobody here can really answer that question for you

I agree that it would be better if all the 3D functions were removed together, but I suspect that the gradual removal from menus is tied up with interaction with other functions. Photoshop has developed over many years and a seemingly simple change in one part of the app can result in unintended consequences in another.
