How do I import a 3D ".MPO" file into Photoshop and have it displayed as two side by side images and not as an anaglyph image.

MPO [Multi-Picture Object] is a fake standard so you should use whatever software made the file... other software can open MPO files but you tend to get errors pulling the images apart

Photoshop is smart enough to display an MPO file as an anaglyph image. Photoshop seems to know how, with an MPO file, to take the left image and make it all red and then make the right image all cyan.and show them as one image. why can't I tell Photoshop to just show the left and right images side by side as one image?

This seems to have broken after Photoshop 2020
