3d vertical lines

hi everyone.

im having this problem with vertical lines. this 3d shape was created as a work path also if i create this as a selection it is still the same. i have ran updates to see if  it will solve the problem.

    I realise you used a path , but what size , in pixels, is the diameter covered by that path before extruding?

    it was 3000-3000 canvas size dave and the circle was nearly covering all of the canvas. cheers.

    also.... what size is that object... (px)  it looks very low res...

    thanks grant. it is a complete circle and any other shape i create in 3d. the problem is it should be all flat like the top of the shape. even when materials are added i still get vertical lines.

    I am not sure what the actual problem is... was it a perfect circle or if you can be clear what problem you are experiencing?
