I came across an article indicating that Adobe has started to partner with various NFT marketplaces to establish authenticity of NFTs using Photoshop (i.e. Content Credentials).

Noticeably, is the added functionality [to #Photoshop] to 'export as a NFT'

Which blockchain/token will this ability/technology be built upon?

The help page says:

"To become an NFT, a piece of content is “minted.” Minting an NFT executes a transaction to create the unique digital identifier on the Ethereum blockchain — a public and tamper-proof ledger."
