Can anyone tell me where I can find a program for ABR viewing that just gives an over all view of brushes in a ABR file. I just want to open a forlder an any ABR files in the folder will show a stack of thumbs for each ABR file in the folder. Not a stand alone viewer that I have to launch before veiwing any ABR file for viewing brushes.

Thanks Greg

.abr is a proprietary format for Adobe Brushes. There is no viewing app available to preview brushes before you import them into Photoshop.

An .abr file may not just one brush, but an entire collection.

Normally any site that you obtain an .abr will show previews of the brushes in a set before you purchase or download. Alternatively I have gotten sets from Adobe that have a nice PDF included with thumbnails:

For years I have been using a program called abrMate and it brings in all of my brushes. There is a new 2019 version to download free. Just do a search for abrmate and you should get to it. Hope it helps in what you are looking for.

Jerry the first download nortan told me it was unsafe and deleted it.so I went to the abrmate site and it was fine works great just what I need. About photoshop seven I found a program that in opening a folder with an abr file it would show thumbnails of all the stacked on top of each other, when I cliked on it it would show a list of the brushes in the thumbnail stack. What you directed me to will work even thou I need to launch abrmate when viewing (I can also print png from it.

Thanks again
