Hi Everyone,
After I created an action i want to copy the actual program/steps that you see when Button mode is off, to a word document so that I can understand what is going on within Ps.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks.
John
You can save your actions as a Text file from the actions panel by clicking on an action set as if you were going to save that set except press Command-Option (mac) or Ctrl+Alt (windows) when clicking on Save Actions and that will save a text file of the steps in your actions.
The only caveat is it saves every action in the actions panel as text, not just one action.

does Ps = Photoshop?
if so then photoshop can export an action set as a atn file which any script editor software should be able to view but I recommend you make a backup first because Microsoft is well known for adding junk to documents that can have unwanted outcomes.
