Actions stopped showing error "Make" command is not currently available

Hi 

 

After updating PS my actions started showing error message "The command "Make" is currently not available. please can you advised i have gone through the forums and made the changes but still having no luck. The action i have is of the adobe website "watercolor artist".

It appears that the issues is that a selection is required to create a path, then as there is no selection and no path the errors compound.

 

You need to look at the very first error message and then look at the action step that is erroring, and ensure that the file state matches the action step. You may need to look a few steps backwards to see what is going on.

 

If the watercolour action has documentation, double-check what the requirements are for use.

 

I'm guessing that this is just a coincidence with the update and is related to the file, not the Photoshop version.

Thanks for the reply Stephen_A_Marsh plz see attached screen shots hope they are ok. The issue started after the update i done yesterday on PS

Post a screenshot of the action panel expanded with the error message visible and also the layers panel visible.

 

This is usually an issue with an action trying to make a selection or layer or something else that the current file state isn't permitting.
