Adding guide line from the ruler while the crop preview on? on photoshop cc. !!!

HI all! Hi, Question about the gridline on photoshop cc.

I've been using photoshop cs6 before. When I use cs6 I was able to add the guide with dragging the arrow cursor from the ruler( both horizontal and vertical) while crop preview( crop box) on. So I can see the future crop area with the guide with the full image.

But latest cc version photoshop doesn't allow it somehow. Is there anyone have the same issue like this?

Thanks

Press the ctrl/cmd key when first dragging the guide from the rulers, the release the ctrl/cmd key, so the guide snaps to the crop.

I found that if I hold down the Option or Cmd key when dragging out a reference line from the ruler you  can get the result you are looking for.

I’m not exactly sure if that has been reported frequently as a bug  .

meanwhile , you could use the all new new guide layout from

view -> new guiade layout to create margins precisely  and grids ( like rule of thirds)
