Adding text along a circular path. Photoshop 2024.

I'm trying to add text around a circular path in Photoshop 2024. I drew a circle using the ellipse tool and selected the text Tool. But the cursor doesn't change to indicate text-on-path mode, to receive the text when it's positioned on the path as it used to in previous versions. Any help!

@Milael make sure your option at the top is set to path not shape.

Do you have the Ellipse Tool mode set to Shape or Path and not Pixels?

Hi @Jeff Arola , How can i adjust the setting in Adobe 2024 (Version 25.3.1.). I don't have these shape/path/pixel option.

It looks like you have the Elliptical Selection tool selected (dotted ellipse icon). You want the Elliptical Shape tool (solid ellipse icon).

I have a path draw using the elipse tool, (as a path) as soon as I select the typetool the path disappears?

Any help /idea?

Is the Path still visible in the Paths panel?
