Adobe 2022 photo wont animate

I can't get the animation time frame on my software. I barely installed it last week into my laptop and I can't find the onion or skinning on it either. I have the 2022 version of photo shop and I don't know if they took it off and put it on a different software.  I used to use Adobe 2013 and it had animation and tools for it there.i have a windows version of it.

Hi @Samuel24635344eidw ,

@Myra Ferguson is on the money.

Video timelines have onion skins and time indicators.

Let us know how you go

Make sure that you're using Create Video Timeline as opposed to Create Frame Animation. When you have a video timeline, then you can go to the Timeline panel menu (the hamburger menu in the upper right of the panel) to access Onion Skin Settings. Here's more information:

  • Well that's the problem that option of selecting create video timeline does not appear. I've looked all over the menus and I don't see create video timeline or create frame animation. I'm thinking about buying the animate software because it's not letting me animate on photo shop

Hi @Samuel24635344eidw ,

That is weird.

You can toggle between the video and frame based animation from the Timeline panel menu.

Did that not work for you?
