Adobe CC and Google Drive File Stream

New Here ,
May 17, 2022 May 17, 2022

Hello! I'm wondering, because this is the first post about this issue, but somebody need to start speaking.

I'm a Creative Cloud All Apps user and a Google Drive user too, and this combination is not a good deal. After the CC installation, but before the first start my computer goes mad: my icons are started to blinking and the computer (i9, 64G of Ram) slowed down, like in the 80's.

After the restart, the issue seems to be fixed, but if I wanted to start working with Adobe Photoshop, it started again: my open panel begins to change locations randomly and my computer is died. Same thing is happend under InDesign.

I'm trying to change my drivers, but nothing happens, it's started again and again, so, I'm re-installed my windows (downgrade from 11 to 10) - and as a wonder, the issue is fixed... until the google drive client installation, because after this, same thing happens. (blinking, random location changing and sloooowwwwwiiiiinnnngggg.)

After the restart I quit from Drive and PS works like a charm.

The most interesting thing is, that if my Adobe software is running, and I'm just paused the file stream or I quit from the drive client the issue in not fixed. The only way to fix this, is the computer restart and then the immediately quit from the drive client before I'm starting to work with an Adobe software.

Has somebody an idea about this error? Why this coused? How can I fix it? I'm the only person who experienced this in the whole world?

Thank you!

Hi there,

We appreciate you writing in. Ideally, this should not happen if your system meets the minimum requirements for running the Adobe application.

Please test the issue after updating the GPU drivers.

Note: We're moving this thread to Adobe Photoshop community so that an expert can help you further.
