Adobe DNG compatable with Catalan 10.15.7

Hi, Iv'e just upgraded from canon 5d mk lll to R6 mkll. The raw files are cr3, but when I attempt to convert them in DNG, they are failing,

A) because I need the DNG compatible with Catalan

B) Iv'e been getting the message that there was a Parsing error.

I would appreciate any assistance and where I can download the correct DNG version for Catalan 10.15.7

Unfortunately, the Canon R6 mkll requires camera raw 15.0 and i'm pretty sure the last DNG Converter version that works on macOS Catalina 10.15 is 14.5

The DNG Converter 15 doesn't work on my copy of macOS 10.15.7 Catalina

The DNG Converter 14.5 is the newest version that seems to work.

Hi all, and many thanks for your input. I downloaded and installed DNG 13, 15, and lastly 14.5 which is supposed to work with Catalan 10.15.7. Each time I attempt to convert I get the below screen shot dialogue box advising that there was a parsing error. If anyone can throw a light on that I'd be grateful.

Hi @longshot66 "Parsing Error" means the DNG converter ran into bad sectors of the file.

Are you opening directly from your card or have you downloaded these locally to your HD?

@longshot66 the Canon EOS R6 MK II requires version 15.0 or higher. If you are getting those errors on the earlier versions, try with the 15.4 version from the download John provided.

I don't what to say except i did a fresh install of macOS Catalina 10.15.7 along with

Photoshop 2022 (ps ver 23.5.5) and none of the DNG Converter 15's i tried will install, claiming

Big Sur or later is needed.

Strangely though camera raw 15.5 does install and work along with photoshop 2022 (ps ver 23.5.5) on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and opens the Canon R6 mkll cr3 files just fine.

What version of photoshop your using?

Hi All, apologies for the delay. I installed:

DNG 15.4 and a note stated that Mac OS version 11 or later required

DNG 14.5 Conversion status reads "There was an error parsing the file"

DNG 13    Conversion status reads "There was an error parsing the file"

I moved from Photoshop to Affinity Photo, and On1 2022.5 more than 2 years ago (On1 upgraded to 2022.5) and since then I have never experienced any problems. Both Affinity and On1 incorporate Photoshop presets etc within their system with no problems.

I'm at a loss what to try next, and I guess the first step is to find out exactly what is/causes a "Parsing Error"

The Canon R6 mkll requires the Adobe DNG Converter 15.0 or newer so the 14.5 and 13 DNG Converters won't work, thus the error.
