Adobe exe files won't work

Community Beginner ,

After a recent upgrade from Windows 8 to 10, if I click "Update" in PS, LR or Bridge the little ball spins and then nothing happens. All my Adobe programs work fine but I can't download any upgrades. If I go to my Download Folder and click on an Adobe exe file nothing happens either. If I click any other, non- Adobe file, they work fine. I'm stumped. Thanks.

What happens when you check for App updates in the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app?

The Adobe Creative Cloud App might have been updated. The new version seems to have some issues starting. Open it and see what happens, and do what Dave said about updating from there.

As a practice I always reinstall my Adobe CC app after a software upgrade, especially going from Win8 to 10. Honestly I would reinstall all my apps to be safe since it was such a big jump. Upgrading over existing OS does not account for Adobe system support files being in new locations in Win 10.
