adobe failure (Thread Locked)
Almost every 'discussion' on here is essentially a reflection of a failure of the app to communicate effectively to the user.
This 'support community' is a finger in a dike, a place where people have to come to continue using this software - but ultimately they should use better tools.
Example. "greyed out" randomly, who knows why - a button will randomly be greyed out, it becomes unclickable, for no aparent reason. You literally have to search "_blank_ button greyed out" in here in order to figure out why on earth Photoshop or whatever adobe app you are using has decided [removed].
Another example, "Could not place the document because the current document has an input-only color profile." Ummm ok adobe, so you know that i want to place a document, and you have the ability to change an images color profile, and you know that 99% of people have no [removed by moderator] clue what that even means, but you want your user to do what now? You want your user to type out the error into google and then read for half an hour while they are fuming with frustration doing some inane research while all they want to do is their actual project.
What do you pay your employees to do? How many people are in your organization and you can't seem to figure out the basic idea that you shouldn't just randomly stop your users from being able to do something without communicating to them what they should actually do to solve the problem!
