Hi there,

Sorry to hear that Adobe Media Encoder is greyed out. We're here to help.

Did it start happening with the latest version of Windows? Would you mind sharing your workflow? What is the exact dot version of Photoshop that you're on?

Make sure that you are in the Motion Workspace (Window>Workspace>Motion), then make sure that your frame animation is a frame animation and is not in layers.

If both the settings are correct, you may try to reset Photoshop preferences back to defaults and check if that helps. Here's the article for the steps: https://adobe.ly/3ceal5t. Also, back up the Photoshop preferences if you have any custom brushes, actions, and workspace: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG.

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks.

Ranjisha

cannot tell you when is started because I never used this feature in Photoshop before this is my first time creating a timelapse. I post edited my sequence and exported them as jpg to a folder. I then closed lightroom and openedScreenshot (3).pngScreenshot (4).pngScreenshot (5).png Photoshop. I select open in Photoshop and select the folder. I open the first file in the folder check and check image sequence box. I select open than in the next box I select 30 for frame rate. In the work space I select motion. I than choose export and render video I have attached a screen shot of the resulting dialogue box that opens where the “Adobe media encoder “ is greyed out.

I cannot see where there is an option to choose a frame rate animation option.
I am using version 23.3.1 of photoshop

I am having the same issue.  I am on PS 23.2.1.  I know that my files have been saved in the proper format - is there a way to reload the Adobe Media Encoder?
