Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 (Mac): Major Issue with Stylus/Pen Pressure Sensitivity

New Here ,
Jan 11, 2019 Jan 11, 2019

Wacom Pen sensitivity is essentially non-responsive in Photoshop CC 2019. When using clone, heal, or spot heal brushes (as well as others, I'm sure) the pen either won't draw or it will draw somewhere else on the image.

Have tried multiple things to fix the problem without success: tried recalibrating the tablet and pen, restarted the computer, re-installed CC 2019, re-installed tablet driver, as well as tested multiple tablets, and tried adding a '.txt' file to PS CC 2019 Settings.

I will be using Photoshop CC 2018 until Adobe remedies this issue.

Hi Hannahh,

Sorry to hear that you're facing pen pressure issue with Photoshop, could you please go into System Preferences>Security>Privacy>Accessibility, unlock the lock and add Photoshop to the list of allowed apps?

Please let us know how it goes.

Regards,

I have tried this. This was also suggested/tested during a customer service chat and was, unfortunately, unsuccessful. Thank you for the suggestion!
