Adobe Photoshop CC 25 subtract and intersect for Make Selection... on paths is reversed.

Just upgraded to Adobe CC 25 and when I am using a path to subtract from a selection it is acting as if I chose intersect. And the inverse is also happening. Choose intersect and the result is as if I pressed subtract from selection.
Windows 11 intel Core i9 32GB RAM. (That's all the info I have cuz it's a work laptop and it's locked down to most system info views.)
