Adobes "Exif.Image.ImageResources" thumbnail is not supported by third party softwares

Adobe products like Adobe Bridge automatically puts "Exif.Image.ImageResources" thumbnail to image files which is not supported by many third party softwares like GIMP.
If you edit TIFF file created by Adobe Bridge or Photoshop with GIMP or other third party software it doesn't update that "Exif.Image.ImageResources" thumbnail. This may be big privacy risk.

@22130536 – I can't reproduce the issue.

Can you provide step by step info to reproduce the issue, or upload or make a file share available of such an image with intact problematic metadata?

1. Export file from RAW to TIFF with Adobe Bridge.
2. Edit the TIFF image with GIMP and export it to JPEG.
3. You can see wrong old unedited "Photoshop Thumbnail", because GIMP can't update that thumbnail.

Is there anyway to delete this pointless Photoshop Thumbnail?
