After using ACR to edit photo, ACR does not show in PS history list

Windows 11, PS ver 26.4.1, Canon Raw files

After carrying out edits/changes etc in ACR and then dropping back into PS an entry is not showig in the history tab that ACR has been used.

or is it me and never did ?

The Camera Raw filter shows up in history.

The Camera Raw processor, if used on an embedded raw file opened as smart object, shows up indirectly as "edit contents".

The initial opening from ACR just shows in history as "open".

It does show in history if you go back in and cary out further changes in ACR
