AI image works well. Using AI tools in the post-processing is almost impossible

I have recently been testing the AI functionality provided in Photoshop and comparing it to other AI imaging tools.  I'm currently working on an image and finding it problematic and challenging to use in three distinct areas (although two areas overlap).

I have attached the image with the areas I am working with.

Area #1:

I wanted to move the position of the glove up in the image.  I have tried several methods to move the original glove to a higher position in the generated image.

Attempt #1:

I tried masking the glove and moving it up in the image, intending to fill the empty/transparent part of the image using generative fill.

Attempt #2:

I used the AI Eraser tool to attempt to remove the glove entirely (while keeping a separate layer with the masked glove).  I then tried placing the masked glove higher in the image over clothing that looked natural and matched the original clothing.  I also would have tried to regenerate the glove using AI fill (I couldn't get that far).

I could not find a way to do this that closely resembled what I sought.  I was utterly unable to fill in any areas where I wanted the clothing to blend naturally in with the rest of the clothing.

Area #2:

I wanted to "clean up" or change these areas to be more natural/appealing.  I used similar methods to the above, although I also tried to select the region and generate it over the original, hoping it would use the existing content as a structural or style reference.  I was unable to use AI to correct these areas, but I was able to make them better using existing non-AI tools to make some adjustments.

Area #3:

While this is an example of a larger and more significant problem, I feel it needs to be addressed.  I used Firefly to generate the original image before moving it to Adobe Express, where I added the text.  I then downloaded and opened it in Photoshop for further refinement.

I tend to switch between these three separate tools, which likely results in a loss of quality, makes the workflow more complicated, and does not maintain non-destructive editing.

With many of the new additions (especially the AI ones), I am finding it difficult to work on and edit my images non-destructively.  This may be a fault of my own; I need to learn to use the tools more effectively.   However, that has been much less of a problem for me in other alternatives.

At 258px x 438px (with bad jpg-damage to boot) this seems kind of pointless; Please post the original image.

Should Adobe Express export imagery degraded to the point of uselessness you may want to use Photoshop instead.

But if you want advice on Adobe Express you may want to post on the Adobe Express Forum.

so the origional psd file was much larger than 47mb, the issue that I am concerned about is the workflow, and the inability to post process in a general sense.  This is not an isolated case, you can easily reproduce this with any image.  Since the exact image is irrelevant to the problem, that is a much larger more general issue, I just posted an example image, I was not asking for help with that specific image.  The issue is more about the workflow.  Example:  Why can I not generate AI text effects in Photoshop?  The technology is there and while it has been improved significantly with the ability to use a psd and then update it later (which to be honest I have not full explored).  I find that it inghibits the workflow, switching back and forth between applications when the AI is available and could be integrated into photoshop so that there isn't differnet file formats and non-destructive post processing could be achieved.  That was what I was trying to convey.  I appologize if that was not clear.
