Alt + drag selects individual layers and duplicates them, not groups

Hello everyone,

I am trying to use alt + drag to duplicate a layer group and move it, but it just duplicates a single layer and then drags it instead.  Has anyone had this problem or know what I am doing wrong?

Is »Auto-Select« checked in the Options Bar?

Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% and with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

Auto-select was checked and set to layers!  Thank you so much!  I now see I can either uncheck it or change it to groups.
