ALT + Left Click Freeze the Photoshop

Hi!

 

I am using adobe photoshop in windows 11, and when I switch the input method to simplified chinese, the "alt" key shortcut will cause several issues. When I tried to use alt + left key to duplicate a layer, the photoshop freeze, and I cannot save the file or cancel the movement. However, it works well when I switch the input method to English.

 

This bug seems to be appeared recently.

 

Let me know what's the best way to solve this issue.

    is there a fix for this yet? im also affected by this bug. everytime i tried to input mandarin(was translating a document for a client）， alt shift will lock up photoshop, where it still shows it's responding yet i cant click or select anything.(only shows a selection outline when i hover my mouse on buttons and layers)

    I have to thank you!
    I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Photoshop stopped working suddenly. Turns out you're right, I had Japanese IME and it was causing the issues when input was not on English.

    By the way, the input method I am using is the default Microsoft Chinese Pinyin
