Hey, I have an error. Yeah, photoshop still works but it's annoying when you keep getting this error everytime you open the program. The os: Windows 7 Pro x64

Possibly caused by an installed third party plugin.

Try starting photoshop and disable plugins by:

  • Hold down the Shift key and launch Photoshop. A dialog appears during launch that reads "Skip loading optional and third-party plug-ins?"

  • Click Yes to skip loading optional and third-party plug-ins.

    Note:

This disables optional and third-party plug-ins only for the current session. If you quit and restart Photoshop without holding down the Shift key, the optional or third-party plug-ins will be enabled.

Windows 7 is dead. Time to upgrade to Windows 10.

But my GPU drivers don't support Windows 10.

You are going to start finding more and more software that doesn't run on Windows 7 or has errors.

The error message you are getting has nothing to do with Photoshop, BTW. Its a Windows error.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble while trying to launch Photoshop on your Windows 7 machine. Would you mind telling us which version of Photoshop you're using?

The error you're getting may be due to missing Windows updates or corrupt/damaged Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable packages. Please ensure you have all available Windows updates installed on the computer (you may need to check for Windows updates & restart the computer multiple times).

To repair the Visual C++ redistributable packages, please check: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwi0-6mvmuXxAhUTjeYKHUhXBcUQFjAPegQIGhAD&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2FDownload%2Fconfirmation.aspx%3Fid%3D30135&usg=AOvVaw1E-XyeETrbOxmeeho3zGYh

If the issue persists, you can also try the steps suggested here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/photoshop-19-api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-1-0-dll-missing/m-p/11672563

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj
