An issue with Script Events Manager?

I have a script that does various things (such as renaming files) when PS opens a file.  This script resides in Presets/Scripts/Event Scripts Only.

Having edited the script in the relevant PS2025 folder but not seen the change I made, I did some tests and realised that PS2025 was running the script in the relevant PS2024 folder, not the one in the relevant PS2025 folder.

On opening Scripts Events Manager I noted that it does not show the folder in which the selected script resides.

When one adds a script, the Manager opens the folder associated with the version of PS being run, but appears to 'secretly' store the path to the file and so, at least in my case, where the script was added in a previous version, that's the one that is run.

I have, but that's not the point.

Did you actually start completely fresh and browse to the Script?

Anyway, you can edit the Path to the Script in the Preferences-file »Script Events Manager.xml«.

Apologies that I was not clear that I had deleted the old script and added the new one, but the only point I was making is that from the EM dialog the user cannot tell which folder the script is being run from.

Have you tried removing and recreating that specific event-association in Script Events Manager?

The Script Events Manager can access scripts stored in other locations, so what happens if you move or copy the script to another directory?

The Events Manager can only run the scripts given it, selected from a folder.

The point here is that EM does not show the folder from which it is running a particular script.
