Question

Ancient CS6 question - is Radeon WX 2100 sufficient?

Hello all

I'm curious to know if a 2GB AMD Radeon WX 2100 would be sufficient for non-heavy use of Photoshop CS6? I'm typically editing TIFFs that are <300MB in size. I rarely use layers or more complex tools.

Would there be a measurable difference if I instead went for a WX 3100 with 4GB?

The system is an old Mac Pro 3,1 with 32GB RAM and High Sierra or Mojave.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts

Philip

Hi Philip,

Thanks for reaching out. We recommend using the latest software versions and operating systems for the best features. However, if you want to be on Photoshop CS6, please check the software's minimum system requirements here.

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,

Ranjisha
