Animated GIF: How to add frames to the Timeline panel

I am making an animated GIF. I have watched this video which is really helpful.

I selected  'made the frames from the layers' so the layers appear in the Timeline panel.

I have now made more layers and want to add them to the Timeline panel. How do I add frames at a later stage? The 'make frames from layers' is now greyed out.

In the Timeline panel under the frames, click the box with the + in it to add a new frame. With that new frame selected, go to the Layers panel and toggle on the visibility of the layer(s) you want visible in that new frame.
