Animated gif problems

So, I imported all the images I need for this animated gif, but when I go to Go to the “Timeline Panel” menu and click “Make Frames From Layers” nothing happens, I cannot comprehend what I'm doing wrong. All the images load up in layers but I am not able to do anything, the options are all greyed out. The files I imported are JPEGs exported from Illustrator. Can anyone help me? I have tried searching through the web and I have followed instructions and I am back to square one. Please help!!

@default8doxfzfsm73x With all the images visible in layers, from the Timeline panel, click the button in the middle "Create Frame Animation" first and then use the fly out (hamburger) menu on the far right to Make Frames from Layers. Let us know if it's still not working.
