Hi @defaultpnbvw3spg7hu

Converting a photo to a cross stitch pattern is not part of Photoshop, although there may be plug-ins written by outside vendors.

Try doing a Google search for "convert photo to cross stitch pattern". I just did and top hits include DMC (the thread manufacturer) and many others.

You're welcome, @defaultpnbvw3spg7hu , and could you give us feedback on the results?

Are you looking for Photoshop plugin or extension? Try on Adobe Exchange https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.html or on some other marketplace.

I have tried one of the creative sites and downloaded an app but had some trouble and couldn't get a reply from the site. Thanks for you encouragement.

I can remember this being asked on this forum before, but I can't find that thread now.  There are lots of references to using Photoshop to create cross stitch and lots of videos, but I wouldn't like to judge how effective they are.

This link has the advantage of coming from a craft site, which should give it some credence.

Use Photoshop to Make Cross-Stitch Charts – Cross-Stitch (craftgossip.com)

It's actually amazing just how many hits you get with YouTube searching with Photoshop cross stitch and some of them look pretty good.

Thanks for your reply; craftgossip was a dead end. I have tried youtube. Using your query, I have more hits and will keep exploring. Many thanks.

What exactly are the output requirements?

Could you post an example of what you need to achieve?
