Still experience EXTREME lag when trying to save images as anything other than quick PNG. even small images like 80x80 px it's such a dragged out process and completely halts producivity. sometimes saving will shift the image or display layers in the final image that were inactive and the only way to work around that is to literally delete those layers, save, then undo to make sure i keep the layers in the file. this is both on PC 64GB RAM/rtx 2080 and 27 imac with upgrades. rolling back seems ridiculous if we're forced to continuously pay for a service then go back to a previous version

Are you saving these images in a network storage or on an external device?
Try to save the file locally or to save the files to another location.
Then try to disable antivirus, firewall, or so on...

Aside from the dramtically slow load times when exporting - WHY are we still getting glaring bugs like this? Layers bugging out, missing, or hidden layers are turned on when trying to export. This isn't a preferences issue, and happens on both PC and iOS. Can't get any acknowledgement from Adobe. I shouldn't have to waste time and scour my thumbnails when trying to save to make sure the file isn't being changed from what's active in my artboard, all while continuing to get charged monthly by a company that continues to ignore it's own faults.

Are you running Photoshop 22.5.1?
If you go to Preferences > Export... and un-check "Use Legacy Export As" and restart does the same problem(s) happen?
Is it all files, or specific ones, that change appearance when you use Export As? If it's specific ones, can you share your PSD?
