Authenticate Google drive

When trying to upload files from Google drive, I receive a message that says I need to authenticate Google drive. Cannot find anything explaining what that means.

    Hi Marlo,

     

    You're being asked to open the Google Drive app on your iPad and authenticate with Google. I've found sometimes that I need to update the authentication within the iOS Files App as well.
