Hello, I have a question. Since I was searching Photoshop cs6 for some trials/experiments, I 've found that on Etsy Shop is full of people that sell Photoshop cs6 or older.
I would like to know (since asking to many of the sellers on Etsy, they tell me that they are authorized and are genuine softwares, I would like to know , these are genuine sellers? Have special permission ?
If are on Etsy, they should be safe or adobe have a certain tolerance to let them to sell the old photoshops?
Here the links (full of Photoshop softwares, which one is genutine permission from Adobe? Some sellers says sometimes ' people do this scam on different sites, but in the end there are serious sanctions for it. The right to choose is yours, I am selling this product with permission' .
So since I read that Adobe there's authorized Platinum, Gold and Certified Resellers , I would like what is a reselled (in Italy) that could sell genuine Photoshop cs6? And what are exactly these resellers? The old copies dvds belong to these resellers can be sell?

If these sellers are not genuine, why are on Etsy?

Thank you in advance for help!

I mean... if is reported to Adobe they will make close those sells? If adobe dont close them maybe means they are a bit tolerant ? Many people are purchasing that, thinking is genuine.

I wonder if Adobe , will release a more lite version of Photoshop cs6 around 100$ just like Photoshop elements? This could be useful as many people get it there because they can t afford 700$ software. Maybe it would be great ! I think I will get Adobe Photoshop Elements from Adobe site. See? The software with prices around 100 or 150 $ sell good.

Ops what mean You will get  burned?

Thanks a lot for all the infos!

The links are for digital downloads, which you can easily get. It's the serial number that gets flagged by Adobe. You won't get that until after you make the purchase. Then good luck getting your money back.

Adobe doesn't and can't police the internet for scammers.

You have been warned that they are not legit. You seem to be arguing that they might be.

Photoshop Elements is currently $70 US. There are other free open-source options available too.

Any and every copy of CS6 sold now is a pirated/illegal copy. That's not a probability; that's a dead certainty. CS6 has not been legally available anywhere for many years.

No serial numbers have been issued since 2015 or so, and the existing serial numbers have been used long ago.

If are illegal, is strange there are so many sellers that are free to sell it on Etsy. Etsy is a reliable marketplace. Also if are illegal, Etsy itself after the report should have take down the sales but seems are still there. If they dont have permission there would be many people that really dont know is illegal and think are genuine copy. Or maybe Adobe is a bit more tolerant ? Or maybe they have a sort of permission?

Thanks again for the help

Thank you for the informations, I will do my best to learn adobe photoshop elements but I have a question, I'm currently testing the trial of Photoshop Elements following some tutorials on youtube.

Now, I would like to use my tablet and I need to use the brush and also press ALT key often (to pick up the base color and then paint again over a picture). With pse is possibile to use a tablet and associate a specific key to the button ? I check on windows and there's no option.. usually it's the software one use, that should add this option when one want to use tablet?
I'm confused , I hope is possible to do it!
Thank you again for the help!

AFAIK, Photoshop Elements is not available for a tablet, unless you are referring to a Microsoft Surface or similar system.
