Auto blend in photoshop cc

Hi,

I have been using auto blend to swap faces lately, and 2 times it worked. However, most of the time after I do all the steps and click on auto blend layers, nothing happens. The lines around the face that are contracted are selected, but the faces have not been merged. What am I doing wrong?

the problem is "there is some feathers around the layer face 1"

make sure about two things:

- before using the lasso tool, make the feather: 0 px (in the tool options bar)

- before using gaussian blur, lock the transparent of the "face 1" layer.

    Thank you so much, I set feather to 0 px and it worked!

    Now after the face swap was succesfull, there were some points on the face (especially the cheeks) where there was still a line where the 2 different face colors show. Do you know how I can fix that as well?

    use this tool "Spot healing Brush"  it may help.

    Does one of these properties apply?

    (Quote from help file): Auto-Blend layers is available only for RGB or Grayscale images. It does not work with Smart Objects, video layers, 3D layers, or background layers.

    I'm new to photoshop so I don't exactly know what you mean by that, but here is a screenshot of what happens after I use auto blend.

    why do you have two rounded lines ?

    you must draw only one cycled line

    in this case Photoshop will merge only the selected area between these tow lines
