Auto-fill lasso?

An artist I follow shared that one of their favorite drawing tools in Clip Studio is an auto fill lasso, which fills the lasso selection with the picked color automatically when you close the selection. Their tool is illustrated in this gif http://i.imgur.com/xdljunr.gif  Is there an equivalent tool in Photoshop that does not require an additional button press? (I am aware of alt + del, this requires pressing an additional button every time.)

The closest thing in Photoshop would be the free hand pen tool in shape mode with a fill option.but it would create a shape layer you can edit.

Press alt + backspace after making the selection and it will be filled with the active color.
