Auto scaling text box

Hey!

I'm trying to make a little PSD template but ideally I want there to be a shape layer behind a text that automaticly scales with the text that is imputted. Is there any way to do this in photoshop? I know AE can do it and PSD kinda does it when you select a text.

Let me know!

Greetings,

Robin

Illustrator should do that easyly but Photshop do not colorize texts .

Draw a shape behind, select both and convert to smart object.

You can the elarge or reduce both at the same time

Opening the smart object alows you to edit text-and shape

Try using a layer style on the text, rather than a separate shape layer. The layer style will be dynamic.

Edit: I might have been thinking of Illustrator, not Photoshop.
