Question

Autosave

Why does Photoshop have no Autosave-Option like most other Adobe-Programs like After Effects or Premiere Pro,

where a folder is created with incremental project back-ups and forced saves to the original file?

I also don't understand why there is no option to save all open files with one click.

Please change this!

Without a native method, users have had to create scripts to fill the void...

Paul Riggott created a script to incrementally save, which can be manually actioned via a hot key:

How to incrementally save images using a hotkey

SuperMerlin created a Bridge script "timer" to remind a user to manually save, which could be a standard save or perhaps using the incremental save script:

Re: Reminder to save?

However the two have not been combined, nor am I aware of another script to automatically save.

Jesus, in 2019 it is not yet sorted out?? How come Ae has it? Why C4D has it? Why Davinci Has it? Why is Adobe not standardizing the autosave feature? Why is not switched on by default? Why is it not convenient to recover dated versions?

Hi

You're not really addressing Adobe here as this a is a user to user forum, you can of course post a feature request over on the Adobe feedback forum
