When corrupted PS Prefs result in interface/performance errors etc., the common effective remedy is to Reset PS Prefs. Easy enough, but there are many custom settings that will revert to default as a result of this action. Some of the settings can't be saved as a backup. Others need to be saved to specific locations manually.
Many years ago it was suggested to make a "fresh" copy of PS prefs immediately after reset (and AFTER the custom settings have been set).
But is there not a way to save ALL custom settings in a streamlined action prior to prefs reset?
This would make it far easier to reset prefs frequently, without having to manually restore all the various custom settings.
