Bad Performance, Especially on Startup
I am encountering severe performance issue about Creative Cloud Apps on both of my Windows PCs, especially when startup, during the couple of minutes I can barely do any operation.
Let's take Photoshop as an example. For a few minutes after the GUI loaded, any operation would cause the app to stop responding. The overall performance when using the app is extremely bad. The same problems happen to InDesign and Premiere Pro as well.
By monitoring with Task Manager, I find the memory usage of Photoshop gradually increases to around 1.2GB after startup, then the app is not responsive. Clicking around in the app lets its memory usage increases 300MB in around half a minute, then the app is not responding again. This stops until the memory usage reaches around 2.5GB.
The following are the PC configurations I tested with:
1. OS: Windows 11 64-bit
2. CPU: Intel Core i9-12900KF
3. Memory: Corsaier Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 5600MHz DDR5
4. GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 TI
5. SSD: Corsaier MP600 PRO XT 2TB
6. Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z690 GAMING X DDR5
The OS, GPU driver and all Creative Cloud apps are up to date. I have tried reinstalling the apps and resetting the app settings, but the problem still exists. The memory usage setting in Photoshop is 16384MB, and I have set to use the discrete GPU.
Does anyone have similar issues? Any approach that might solve these problems? Thank you all who see this for your time!
