Beep In Mask View

Contributor ,

After making a selection in Photoshop & choosing Select & Mask, then attempting to undo changes that  I have made, Ctrl-Z and Ctrl-Alt-Z do not work, producing an annoying beep, however, both Edit, Undo and Edit, Step Backward/Forward do work.

Beep When Done is unchecked, in Preferences.

This happens only when creating a mask.

Can I change this?

Hi Eliza,

That's odd... it works as expected for me. Do CTRL Z and CTRL-ALT-Z work normally outside of Select and Mask for you? Are the keyboard shortcuts displayed next to Edit>Undo and Edit>Step Backward/Forward listed correctly as CTRL Z and CTRL-ALT-Z respectively?

Yes, the keyboard shortcuts are correctly displayed in the menu, in both views, but do not work when I type them.   I also get the beep when increasing/decreasing brush size in the mask view, with the left & right square brackets, but not in regular view.
