Is there a way to import or to manage MP4 files in Photoshop. If not, can MP4 files be converted to a compaible format for Photoshop?

mp4 is a container for a video file. Inside that container is the video file which will be encoded with a codec e.g to H.264. It looks like your file is encoded in a format that is not compatible or for which you do not have a codec. Try opening the file in the free, Handbrake, app and convert it to h.264.

Use File>Open to open the .mp4 directly in Photoshop? MP4 is an acceptable file format for video.

Thks for quick response. I tried to open the file in PS and received the following message "Could not open filename.MP4 because the video file could not be opened".  Could there be a file size issue? The file is 486.30mb. I am using PS 25.0.0 with WIN 10. The file was created with a DJI Air 3 drone
